BAU: The Tasik Biru Festival 2023 is expected to receive thousands of festival goers as renowned local artistes will grace the main stage and enliven the atmosphere from October 27 to 29.

This year’s festival will have two stages – the main stage will be at the parking space of Tasik Biru Medan Selera and another at Kampung Tasik Biru.

Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep said this was upon the request of the locals as there will be a huge number of stalls to be opened during the festival.

“This is really encouraging and positive by the business operators. As of now, we have 40 stalls and many are waiting for confirmation, so we have to get another stage at the village.

“Other than that, the festival includes four state constituencies, Tasik Biru, Serembu, Opar and Batu Kitang.

“So, we the people’s representatives also take part in organising the festival together with Bau District Office and Bau District Council (MDB),” said Henry.
