DALAT: Fifteen students graduated from the St Bernard Church Mission Kindergarten during a convocation ceremony held at Kampung Tanam here on Wednesday.
The students came from three kindergartens in the area; St Peter from Kampung Medong, St Clement from Dalat Bazaar and St Plechelmus from Kampung Tanam.
The event was attended by the rest of the kindergarten children and parents with Norbert Ren, a representative from the Dalat District Education Office, officiating the ceremony.
In addition to the presentation of certificates and prizes, the event also saw performances from the students of the three kindergartens.
A total of 60 students currently attend these kindergartens and were the first of its kind to conduct its lessons in English in the district.
Also present during the event were St Peter Chapel chairman Philip Patrick Pilen, St Plechelumus Chapel chairman Francis Xavier Klumai and organising chairwoman Irene Corina Siyu.
