Hope Place representative hands over supplies provided by MTT to recipients in need.

KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching, a non governmental organisation caring for needy families, was recently chosen as one of the Sarawak beneficiaries of MTT Shipping Sdn Bhd’s charity sponsorship.

This is the first time MTT Shipping has done charity work in Sarawak, and the company has distributed food not only in Kuching but also in Sibu, Miri and Bintulu.

As part of its sponsorship, MTT has provided Hope Place with 150 sets of food aid, each worth RM100, to assist underprivileged families under Hope Place’s care, as well as to look out for families affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hope Place is currently caring for over 200 needy families and has assisted over 500 quarantined families and other people affected by the pandemic.

For more information, Hope Place or Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (PKHK) can be reached at 082-505987.
