LUNDU: Sebat-Pueh Road is impassable by low vehicles due to flood today (Feb 5).
Lundu/Sematan District Civil Defence Force (APM) chief Lieutenant (PA) Rabuan Zulkeflee said water conditions in the area of Kampung Sebat Melayu/Baru started to spill onto the road since morning.
He said due to the continuous rain from Thursday (Feb 4), the Lundu/Sematan APM team was diespatched to monitor certain areas prone to floods.
“Four APM personnel were deployed to monitor the flood situation at Kampung Sebat Melayu/Baru.
“However, no temporary evacuation centre was set up thus far,” he said in a statement.
