MUKAH: Frontliners at the Dewan Suarah Mesra vaccination centre (PPV) here were treated to a meal by the Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) Recreation Club (Mudak) on Friday.
The club contributed 90 food packets from Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) to them.
Club chairman, Mohamad Nazir Besiri said it was a form of appreciation and moral support to the frontliners.
“Mudak really appreciates the commitment and service given by them at the PPV here,” he said.
He noted that as more people here received the Covid-19 vaccine here, it has helped to build confidence among those who have yet to register.
Mohamad Nazir hoped that with the increasing number of people vaccinated, they could achieve herd immunity within the scheduled period.
