BINTULU: The public are invited to participate in the Glamping and Fun Run 2024 festivities on May 11-12, to be held at Taman Millennium Kidurong.
The programme, organised by the Borneo Sports, Recreation, and Adventure Club (BSRAC), aims to attract a total of 300 participants for the Fun Run category and accommodate 30 tents for Glamping activities.
According to BSRAC President Mohd Ariffin Abdullah, a participation fee of RM75 is charged for Glamping activities, while RM65 is charged for the Fun Run event.
Currently, the organisation has received 20 submissions for Glamping tents and 230 participants for the Fun Run event.
“The Glamping activity is scheduled to be inaugurated by Jepak assemblyman Iskandar Turkee on May 11 at 7.30pm, while the Fun Run participants’ flag-off and closing ceremony will be overseen by a representative of Samalaju assemblyman Datuk Majang Renggi on May 12 at 6.30am,” he said during a press conference.
The Fun Run event offers various attractive prizes, including a grand prize of a watch worth RM999, as well as prizes for the first, second, third to eighth place winners, Fun Run and Glamping shirts, and medals for participants who complete the run.
The closing date for registration and participation is April 9.
