THE Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government has rolled out countless infrastructure development projects across the state both in urban and in rural areas.

Since established in June 2018, the ruling coalition has made much progress in Sarawak especially in infrastructure developments for the benefit of all.

This includes the building of more roads, major bridges, affordable houses, implementation of water and electricity supply projects, waterfront projects, as well as providing better Internet connectivity and other facilities to stimulate economic growth thus improving the quality of life of the people.

This is in line with the state government’s aim to make Sarawak a developed state with high-income status by the year 2030.

Overall, Sarawakians are pleased with various development projects implemented by the GPS government and are hoping for more projects to come.

GPS has been good to Sarawak as the state government. Throughout its administration, there have been a lot of changes in terms of building of infrastructure such as roads connecting communities, especially those in the interior areas. I hope GPS will continue to thrive and also bring more developments and programmes for us to move forward into the future.

As we can see, a lot of progress has been made with GPS governing Sarawak. In the interior for example, logging roads have been repaired and improved to make it easier for villagers to bring farm produce to sell in towns. The effort made by GPS is very significant compared to a few years ago. Various changes are made even if only by a small percentage, but the impact is huge.

Under the GPS government, what they have done for Sarawakians has been very encouraging, especially in helping the people experience progress of development like other states in Malaysia. Not only that, the state government also helps develop every district so that no district lags behind in development. Hopefully in the future this kind of effort will be continued to help the people live a more comfortable life.

I live in Serian and I am very proud because every initiative proposed is directed towards development that helps many people in Sarawak, especially in Serian. Development projects such as the Pan Borneo Highway has been beneficial in terms of economy. People from outside can now come here and buy many agriculture produce from locals here. It has been great to see that changes are finally happening.

A lot of things have been happening in Sarawak under the GPS government, in terms of economy and also in the social aspect. Their efforts can be seen through improvements to basic infrastructures for the convenience of the people such as roads, electricity and water supplies. Apart from that, we have been living peacefully with no racial issues. Let’s keep it that way, I hope people can trust them to bring Sarawak to the right direction.
