SIBU: The landslide victory of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) in the 12th state election (PRN12) is a meaningful gift from the people of Sarawak, especially in the Machan constituency.

Machan assemblyman Allan Siden Gramong said the huge win, where GPS won 76 of 82 seats contested, had given the state government added vigor to continue the development policies in order for Sarawak to attain developed state status in 2030.

He said this at an appreciation dinner for the Machan constituency election machinery held at a restaurant here over the weekend.

Allan expressed his gratitude for the hard work and cooperation of all the party machinery as well as the residents in the area who worked hard for the GPS victory during the election.

“I would like to congratulate all of you for successfully maintaining Machan as a GPS stronghold,” he said.

Also present at the ceremony were former Machan assemblyman Datuk Seri Gramong Juna and his wife Datin Seri Catherine Gramong and local community leaders.
