BINTULU: The Wanita Bangkit@KPWKM MyKasih Kapital program under the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development (KPWKM) has successfully helped 22,700 women increase their income.
Its Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said that the programme is an aid for women affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to start businesses with small capital, operating from home.
She said that as of today, about 79,300 participants have attended the Wanita Bangkit@KPWKM MyKasih Kapital course, which includes participants from all over the country.
According to her, participants of the Wanita Bangkit@KPWKM MyKasih Kapital programme who are selected will be monitored after six months of receiving capital assistance and attending courses from the National Welfare Foundation (YKN).
“However, for 2023, monitoring has been advanced to three months after joining the Wanita Bangkit MyKasih Kapital programme.
