KUCHING: Hope Place Kuching recently reached out to one and a half-month-old Danisha Dylia Daniel Abdullah at Sarawak General Hospital, addressing her abnormal heart condition.

Born prematurely, Danisha faces heart and breathing challenges due to a narrow artery. Despite appearing healthy, she relies on an oxygen machine.

Living in Betong without a fully equipped hospital, Danisha’s family struggles, with her father, Daniel, working as a general labourer and mother, Nur Alisha, being a housewife. The family of six survives on Daniel’s meagre income which is below the minimum wage.

Hope Place provides crucial support, offering financial aid and supplying baby diapers and formula during Danisha’s hospital stay. When the mother rushed back to Betong for another child’s illness, Hope Place stepped in to assist.

To aid little Danisha and her family, donations are encouraged, and interested individuals can contact Hope Place or Persatuan Kebajikan Harapan Kuching (PKHK) at 082-505987.

Direct contributions can be made to its bank account MBB: 511289001160 or via the provided SarawakPay/S PAY GLOBAL QR code on its Facebook page. Receipts are available upon request.
