MUKAH: Hundreds of people from all walks of life thronged the residence of Tellian state assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo on the first day of Christmas.
Two canopies were erected in front of the house located at the centre of Kampung Tellian Mukah to accommodate the big crowds.
On hand to welcome the visitors were Yussibnosh’s wife, Elizabeth Ak Nelson, their family members and the people’s representative himself.
The assemblyman’s two-day open house from December 25 was not only meant to commemorate the special occasion but also the best venue for him to mingle with the residents of the area and other visitors.
