KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan recently visited the Malaysia Grand Bazaar and Lalaport under the Urban Development Agency (UDA) in Kuala Lumpur.

The visit was to seek collaboration between the Sarawak Ministry of International Trade, Industry, and Investment and UDA to help local entrepreneurs promote and market their products in Peninsular Malaysia and international markets.

Awang Tengah, who is International Trade, Industry, and Investment Minister, was briefed on the main functions of UDA in real estate development and asset management. He also took the opportunity to visit Sarawakian entrepreneurs operating at the Malaysia Grand Bazaar and Lalaport.

The two premises are under the management of UDA, which is an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development that provides business space for especially Bumiputera entrepreneurs.

Awang Tengah was accompanied during the visit by the ministry’s advisor Datuk Naroden Majais.
