KUCHING: The public have been advised to love themselves and take good care of their health by going for frequent checkups.

Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian also advised them to make use of the free health screening provided.

“Your health is your own responsibility,” he added in his speech at the Anti-Dengue Talk and Health Screening in CityONE Megamall here yesterday.

He added good health should be their first priority in life.

“Recently, there are dengue cases at Jalan Sekama. We want all members of the society to work together to prevent more of such cases.

“You start from your home and then go on to make your residential areas clean,” he said.

Sim also congratulated the Rotary Clubs on their 114th anniversary, saying their mission to provide services to the society has always been appreciated.
