KUCHING: The Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) has just received a monetary donation of RM2,525, packet of rice, pets’ food and used clothing from Malaysian Red Crescent SJK Chung Hua No.5 Kuching.
The purpose of the donation is to inculcate the students’ love and care for the animals at SSPCA.
Headmistress Chin Mui Ling of SJK Chung Hua No.5, who presented the donation to president of SSPCA Datin Dona Wee last Nov 27, expressed her sincere thanks to the parents, teachers and students for making the fundraising project a success.
At the same time, chairman of Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Branch Chai Chon Hon handed over the Best Link Award 2023 Sarawak Branch to Chin, for the school.
