KUCHING: An Indonesian construction worker suffered serious head injuries after his vehicle went out of control and collided into a tree yesterday morning.

The 35-year-old worker was driving along Jalan Stutong from Everise when his car skidded and went out of control. It slammed into a palm tree causing the vehicle to be badly damaged.

A passerby called police and firemen who quickly came to get the victim out of the vehicle and later helped to rush him to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in an ambulance.
