MIRI: In a harrowing incident on Monday, an Indonesian woman suffered injuries after her right hand became trapped in a bottle blowing machine.
Lutong Fire and Rescue (Bomba) station chief Senior Fire Officer II Henry Jugah said the accident occurred inside a manufacturing facility located in Desa Senadin Phase 9 here.
“Our team from the Lutong fire station was dispatched immediately after receiving a distress call about the incident at 11.09 am,” said Henry.
Upon the team’s arrival at the scene, they found that the victim’s co-workers had already managed to extricate her from the machine. She was then promptly transported to Miri Hospital for medical attention.
