Internet woes get Ngemah rep’s attention

SIBU: Ngemah assemblyman Anyi Jana has assured his constituents that he is working on finding a remedy to the internet coverage situation there.

Acknowledging that the internet is a necessity these days, he appealed to the people to be patient while efforts are being made to resolve the problem.

“I met with the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) to discuss the network issue in the constituency in Kuching recently,” he said at the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Appreciation Ceremony for the Ngemah Division machinery at a restaurant here on Saturday night (Feb 26).

Anyi said that he understood the importance of internet coverage for education, work matters and others, especially during the new normal.

“Please be patient because such problem needs time to be resolved,” he said.

At the ceremony, Anyi expressed his appreciation and thanks to all the GPS Ngemah party machinery that had worked hard during the last 12th State Election.

Also present were Anyi’s wife Gelim Utan, Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Ngemah chairman Ramba Resang and Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Ngemah women chief Mutang Kerani.
