MIRI: Thieves on Friday carted away a newly bought vacuum cleaner and a grass cutter machine with a total worth of RM6,000 from a house in Desa Senadin phase 7, here.
Upon discovering the items went missing around 4.30pm, the owner made a police report immediately.
According to Miri police chief ACP Hakemal Hawari, police are in the process of investigating the case.
It was believed that the suspect or suspects had gone into the house to commit the theft when nobody was at home.
Anyone with any information regarding this incident, or anyone who may have been offered items similar to those stolen, is asked to contact the police.
