KUCHING: Eight members from the Junior Chambers International (JCI) Sarawak recently attended the JCI Malaysia Area Sarawak Convention in Sibu.

The two-day convention on May 27 and 28 at University of Technology Sarawak (UTS) brought together proactive individuals from various JCI chapters across Sarawak.

“The  convention provided an opportunity for JCI members to network, exchange ideas, attend training, and showcase their accomplishments.

“By consistently striving to improve the communities and positively impact the lives of those in need, JCI Damai has proven itself as a dynamic and influential force within the JCI network,” JCI Sarawak said in a press statement.

JCI Damai president Sussanne Lee said the movement’s participation in the convention exemplified its commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

“With our unwavering determination, JCI Damai is poised to make even greater strides in the future,” she said, adding thast JCI Damai remains committed to its mission of creating sustainable change and will continue to inspire others to join them in building a better future.

She said JCI Damai will be celebrating its 35th anniversary on June 24.
