DEBAK: Youths, housewives, single mothers and practically anyone else who is interested can attend skills classes organised by the Community Development Department (Kemas) to generate income and improve the family economy.

Deputy Minister of Rural Development II Datuk Hasbi Habibollah praised the initiative of Kemas to run skills classes in villages.

“I invite the target group, in particular, to get involved in some of the main areas offered, namely cooking, sewing, grooming, family well-being education, handicrafts and computer literacy,” he said.

Deputy Minister of Community Welfare Mohammad Razi Sitam, Deputy Director-General of Kemas Malaysia Operations Ahmad Kamal Idris Mohd Nawawi, Sarawak Kemas Director Khairuddin Md Nasir and Betong Kemas Officer Md Asdi Hamdi were also present.
