On January 29, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim hinted at the possibility of offering the two aforementioned positions to Khairy following Khairy’s sacking from UMNO by posting a photo of him and the former health minister with the caption “Future JDT FC CEO and Johor Youth Advisor”.

Khairy, who made his debut today as a Hot FM radio announcer also said that “it is a serious matter and it is not a joke”.

Well-known as KJ, he is no stranger to football as he was Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) deputy president in 2007.
