Late Ambrose Blikau Enturan a rural development icon, says Nanta

Nanta extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Blikau for their loss.

KUCHING: Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi fondly recalls the late former Katibas assemblyman, Datuk Seri Ambrose Blikau Enturan, as a dedicated individual who made substantial contributions to the development of rural areas.

The Kapit MP highlighted the invaluable services that Blikau provided during his time as the Katibas assemblyman, specifically in advancing the development of rural communities.

“The loss of Datuk Seri Ambrose Blikau Enturan is not only deeply felt by his family but also by all the residents in the Katibas constituency.

“Let’s pray for his soul to rest in peace. His services and sacrifices will forever remain in our hearts, and his words of encouragement will continue to guide us,” Nanta expressed in his condolence message, shared on his social media page today (Sept 10).

Nanta, representing the Kapit parliamentary constituency, extended his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family of the late Blikau.

“I would like to convey my condolences to Datin Sri Marie Therese Mathias and the family.

“I pray for his family members to find strength in facing this difficult time,” he said.

Blikau, 70, passed away yesterday (Sept 9). He succumbed to a lung infection at 8.05am at the Normah Medical Specialist Centre in Kuching.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter, and eight grandsons.
