MIRI: SUPP’s Mobile Service 2U Team went to the ground on Today (Oct 30) to meet with ordinary folk as the pace picks up for the general election.
The party’s Miri-Sibuti Parliamentary Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Sri Lee Kim Shin led the walkabout at the Krokop Lorong 10 Market and Krokop Lorong 5 Market areas.
Members of the team comprised Mayor Adam Yii, councillors, kapitans and youth and women leaders from SUPP Senadin, Piasau and Pujut.
They bantered with vegetable, fruits, meat sellers and fishmongers at the two markets and also met the public at coffee shops nearby.
The team also distributed face masks to all those they met to mitigate Covid-19, besides getting feedback on market maintenance issues which Yii promised to act on and also a request for new traffic lights along the Pan Borneo Highway and the need for road repairs.
