Lee visits mosque in Permyjaya

MIRI: Transport Minister and Senadin assemblyman Datuk Lee Kim Shin today visited Masjid Ar’Rayyan Permyjaya and Tudan Desaras 6 (B) which were under his constituency.

The Rural Transformation Project (RTP) at Masjid Ar-Rayyan Permyjaya involves roof replacement following several requests by committee members to replace the rusty and leaking roofing panels last year.

The repair and/or replacement of the roofing panels of the mosque started on January 18 this year and was completed on February 9 at a total cost of RM80,000.

This morning, Lee witnessed the handing over of the completion work certificate to the chairman of the Mosque Committee Kiprawi@Othman Mohamad.

The mosque committee board was very thankful to Lee for his support and assistance. 

The minister later visited the 610-metre road resurfacing and paving work in Tudan Desaras 6 (B), which cost RM600,000.

The road resurfacing and paving work started on November 16, 2020 and were completed last month.

The residents at Tudan Desaras 6(B) were very thankful to Lee for his help.

These were some of the projects under RTP 2020 in Lee’s constituency carried out by Public Works Department (JKR).

The minister thanked the Sarawak government under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for the   Rural Transformation Project funding to implement projects in the Senadin constituency.

Present at the handing over of the RTP project at Tudan Desaras 6(B) were the JKR engineering team, JKR’s contractor and Kapitan Chong Ah Muk.
