LICT in CityOne from next month

KUCHING: Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology (LICT) Sarawak will be moving to a new campus at CityOne Megamall in February.

The relocation of the Kuching campus will help LICT to cater to the state’s high demand for graduates in the field of digital technology in line with Sarawak’s Digital Economy Strategy 2018-2022.

According to founder Tan Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing, the institute has begun the process of transformation by creating the most high-tech learning environment to empower students with the latest in digital technology.

“This is in line with the institution’s vision to create graduates that will understand as well as adopt ideas and technologies to enable digital government transformation.

“In establishing ourselves here, we have given ourselves the role of a global connector in promoting the Land of Hornbills, making use of the resources of our campus to bring the world to Sarawak and vice versa,” he said in a statement issued yesterday.
