LIMBANG: The champions from the north region, Limbang are determined to reach the semifinals of the Sarawak Cup 2017 campaign which will be held in Mukah from November 4 to 12.
Limbang team manager, Abdul Ajis Kon said although they are unaware of the strength of another teams from the different other regions, but their dream of making the squad reach the top four is their main target. “It’s our goal to qualify for the semifinals, but it’s not an easy task.
However, with the existing players’ line-up and with our timely preparation, our mission to make the semifinals is possible,” said Abdul Ajis. According to Abdul Ajis, the Limbang squad will be a combination of young players and some experienced stars.
“What’s certain, since the formation of the team, compatibility between the players is quite satisfying,” he said. A total of 13 teams will take part in the tournament with all the divisions in the State taking part, including PDRM. – By Faizal Bujang
