KUCHING: The Kuching Charity Run 2023 being organised by the Rotary Club is expected to be back with a boom.

The launching of the run has caused excitement among volunteers, organising committees and the general public to participate and enjoy.

New Sarawak Tribune interviewed them on their expectations on the coming run in May 7, located in Cityone Megamall here.

BELLA SIM, 18
Volunteer

I feel nervous to be given the opportunity to volunteer in the coming run.

Earlier, I was also involved in the catwalk performance and that too was a nervous moment.

However, for the run in May, I feel quite excited and I look forward to be able to help the community in this way.

I am nervous to be able be a member of the volunteer team, but I am glad that I can help and be involved in the Rotary Club.

The run is also something I look forward to and can’t wait to see people take part in the event.

ESTHER HU, 44
Treasurer and Publicity Chair for Kuching Charity Run

We hope to get a good response from the run, I joined the run one time before which was well organised, so I welcome everyone to join the run.

I hope everyone can contribute and if everyone can help someone then this would good enough.

I hope more youth will be able to participate and join the coming run in May.

Andrea Chan

ANDREA CHAN, 38
Immediate Past President, Rotary Club of Kuching Central

It is the first time for Rotary to participate with so many clubs in Kuching and it is quite exciting to be able to work out the dynamics.

I hope many people will be able to join the run and be more aware of what Rotary is doing for our community
