LUNDU: Kabaddi and beach volleyball are set to be hosted in Lundu District during the 2024 Malaysia Games (Sukma).
Kabaddi is scheduled from Aug 20 to 23 at the Lundu Community Hall, while beach volleyball will be held from Aug 17 to 23 at the YES Union Retreat Resort Lundu.
To ensure smooth information dissemination and scoring, the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) is collaborating with the Games Management System (GMS) for direct media reporting and jointly hosting the prize-giving ceremony with the Lundu District Information Department.
Moreover, UKAS is tasked with appointing or providing an Information Controller and Information Processing (MCP) for both venues.
With the cohesive cooperation among the involved agencies, Sukma 2024 is poised to be a successful and momentous event for both the district and Malaysia as a whole.
