Nearly four days after the general election, the position of the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia is still a topic of heated discussion among Malaysians. The end of the people’s wait will be determined by who will lead the national government.

Obviously, this choice will elicit varied responses from the populace. Some are opposed, but there are also some who are in favour.

And, we observe that the subject of who will become Malaysia’s tenth prime minister is being actively debated and is dominating all social media platforms. This endless political soap opera is filled with numerous surprises.

With BN’s announcement to become the opposition, the door is open for two national party blocs, Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Perikatan Nasional (PN), to reach the top of the list of Prime Minister candidates, increasing the likelihood that one of these two candidates will hold the highest administrative position in Malaysia.

In order for this bloc of political parties to create a simple majority, several formulas are offered for their combination. Nonetheless, this arrangement is not as simple as it appears.

The support of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (TSMY) for PN is viewed as inferior to that of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI), who has been nominated by PH. Due to their extensive political involvement, the advantages of these two characters cannot be denied.

Playing football in a world rife with disorder and rivalry for power has provided them with valuable knowledge that will be applied to their administration in the future. DSAI’s efforts to construct a government that should represent the interests of all districts, states, and regions in order to foster communal harmony and prosperity are predicated on his notion of inclusion.

In the meantime, political stability is the pillar of the PN for the integrity of a developed and promising nation on the global platform.

This political upheaval will end with the appointment of the nation’s highest leader, who will guide the administration with full responsibility, trust and integrity.

The people fulfilled their duty on November 19 and expect that the majority-winning party will provide a leader who fights for the people and prioritises their interests.

Leaders who are competent, aware of their obligations and qualified to carry out the tasks given to them. We are already aware that a coalition government will be established in Malaysia from a number of political groups. There is no other option and this is now the best one.

In light of this, cooperation and agreement among the coalition of these parties are of the greatest priority. The people have placed their faith in the candidate they elected and are hopeful that the campaign platform will be carried out.

Their manifesto is a contract that ties the agreement between the party and the people, and the success of this agreement should not be mere rhetoric. The tenth Prime Minister of Malaysia should take inclusiveness into mind by not ignoring the needs of all citizens.

This is in accordance with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s directive, which emphasises the unity and peace of the Malaysian community. This message must be strictly adhered to, and the future prime minister must assume this obligation with honour.
