MIRI: A 58-year-old man and his four-year-old grandson suffered injuries after their car slammed into the rear of another vehicle at Jalan Pujut 7 here on Friday (May 12).
The Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) released a statement stating that the incident occurred after the man had picked up his grandson from kindergarten.
“The man stated that he was following a Toyota Vios when it braked suddenly, causing the collision.
“The driver suffered a back injury, while his grandson sustained cuts to his lips as a result of the accident.”
Both were immediately transported to Miri Hospital for further treatment.
