Man found dead in bedroom

MIRI: A man in his 20s was found hanged inside his bedroom with a rope around his neck today (Jan 25).

The discovery was made by the deceased’s brother around 1pm Monday.

According to Miri police chief ACP Hakemal Hawari, a police team was deployed to the scene upon receiving an alert on the discovery.

“Our men have carried out investigation at the scene and so far, could not find any elements related to foul play,” he said.

The case has been classified as sudden death.
