MIRI: A 28-year-old man injured his back after his high powered motorcycle fell on him at Lutong near here on Thursday evening. Prior to the 8.45pm incident, the victim had just parked the motorcycle in the compound of the house when it (motorcycle) fell on him.
Fortunately, the victim’s roommate, who arrived at the house a few minutes later, saw the victim groaning in pain while lying on the floor, immediately called the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for assistance.
Three personnel from Miri APM then arrived at the scene around 9.11pm following the distress call. The victim was later taken to Miri Hospital for treatment.
