MBKS issues 2023 assessment bills and reminder on due dates

KUCHING: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) wishes to inform all ratepayers within its jurisdiction that the assessment bills for the first half and second half of 2023 have been issued through the post office or hand dispatch by MBKS staff.

According to a statement, ratepayers who have not received or have misplaced their assessment bills are requested to visit the MBKS One Stop Service Counter (ground floor) or Urban Transformation Centre (UTC), Aras 1, Jalan Bukit Mata, Kuching, where copies of the bills will be issued upon request.

“The due date for first half and second half of 2023 is on Oct 31 and payment after the due date will be subjected to a surcharge at 1% per month or part thereof.”

MBKS added that its counters will be open at One-Stop Service Centre on Oct 28 (8am to 4pm) and Oct 29 (8am to 12pm).

Ratepayers may use E-payment mode to pay their bills by accessing through www.paybillsmalaysia.com, https://service.sarawak.gov.my, S Pay Global (formerly known as Sarawak Pay) or via internet banking such as through CIMB Bank Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, Bank Islam, Public Bank Berhad, JomPay and Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN).
