BINTULU: Utilities Minister Datuk Seri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom today handed over minor rural project (MRP) cheques  for the Kemena state constituency at the Rural Water Supply Department Office here.

Among the 22 recipients who received the MRP grants totalling RM28,000  were representatives of Village Security and Development Committees, Women’s Bureaux and non-governmental organizations (NGOs).    

In his brief speech, Rundi stressed the importance of political stability in the state or country.

“Political stability is an important factor in convincing investors to invest in a country or state,” he said.
