MIRI: A single-storey preschool building was partially damaged in a morning fire at SJK Tukau, Jalan Bakam here today.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the 6.18 am incident.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Miri station were promptly despatched to the scene.
On arrival, the extinguishing deed was performed and the fire was brought under control at 7.25 am.
The team later conducted overhaul works to ensure that there were no embers left.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred are still under investigation.
