MPC Sarawak Region wins badminton friendly

The participants of the badminton friendly held in conjunction with National Sports Month 2023.

KUCHING: The Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) Sarawak Region emerged victorious in a badminton friendly held in conjunction with National Sports Month 2023.

This tournament featured teams from MPC Sarawak Region, Senari Synergy Sdn Bhd, Asteel Sdn Bhd and IMetal (M) Pte Ltd.

Jefri Ahmad Tambi, member of the MPC Board of Directors, gave a welcome speech and inaugurated the event at the MPC Sarawak Region badminton court.

In addition, 100 individuals from various public and private sector organisations from Kuching participated in a Zumba aerobics programme.

MPC Sarawak Region director Dr Mazlina Shafi’i congratulated the team on their win. “Thank you also to the other teams for taking part. Organising such events can foster collaboration and cooperation with industry partners, particularly for the Demak Laut Industrial Area community.”

She added: “The MPC facilitates and implements productivity improvement programmes to boost the country’s economic growth.”

MPC Sarawak Region also provides facilities with affordable rental rates for enterprises and organisations in the Demak Laut and Kuching areas.
