KUCHING: Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) Sarawak secretary Andrew Lo has commended the efficient management of the Covid-19 vaccination process at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

“I am certainly very impressed with the way my vaccination was done this morning at the vaccination centre at BCCK,” he said in a statement today.

“I had opted for the AstraZeneca vaccine and was given an appointment at 9.00am today. I arrived at 8.35am, parked my car, and was given a queue number of 60 at 8.45am. I was vaccinated at 9.05am,” he said, sharing his experience.

He said the signage put up at the vaccination centre was clear and informative throughout the entire process and the staff members there were well-trained and helpful.

“If that is not efficient, I don’t know what is. I would like to thank all the frontliners – from the People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) traffic wardens to the registration staff to the nurses for doing this tireless and thankless job,” he said.

At the same time, Lo urged the public to adhere to their appointment schedule and arrive no more than half an hour earlier than the allotted time.
