DARO: My Team Prihatin (MYTep), a youth non-governmental organisation (NGO) of Pulau Bruit is actively involved in various welfare programmes to assist the less fortunate in the area.

Its chairman Sebuti Juni said to date, they have channelled various forms of donation to those in need in several villages in Pulau Bruit.

Among the items contributed were wheelchairs, foods, disposable diapers and other necessities.

“Most beneficiaries are elderly and displaced patients. The contributions we give are to ease their burden. We move from village to village and will continue to pursue this noble effort from time to time,” he said when contacted yesterday by Suara Sarawak reporters.
