Newly completed surau provides convenience to locals

MUKAH: The Surau Al-Qayyum in Kampung Tegak, Mukah has been completed and will provide new comfort and convenience to the residents of Kampung Tegak and surrounding areas.

The handover was made by the contractor, Mukah District Office, and PWD Mukah as the technical agency for the New Building Project of Kampung Tegak Surau in the Mukah District, which was carried out under the RTP 2020 Project for the Balingian State Constituency (DUN) area.

Muslim residents of Kampung Tegak and surrounding areas can use the new mosque starting this Ramadan.

Therefore, the Muslim residents here have expressed their sincere thanks to local assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi, who provided the allocation for the construction of Surau Al-Qayyum in Kampung Tegak for their convenience.

Thanks are also directed to the Mukah District Office and JKR Mukah, who acted as the technical agency to ensure the success of the project.

Coinciding with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, the residents of Kampung Tegak do not need to visit mosques located in Tabo Village, Jebungan, and to farther places to fulfil their obligations to pray and others.
