KUCHING: A grandfather, a father and two uncles, who were arrested on Friday at 3.30pm, have been remanded for a week to facilitate investigations under Section 376B of the Penal Code for incest.
All four suspects were brought to the Samarahan Magistrate Court in Kota Samarahan yesterday morning for remand.
Serian police was informed on Friday afternoon that a pregnant 13-year-old had been referred to the hospital for examination.
Earlier, the girl revealed that she had been raped by four men, namely, her father, grandfather and two uncles for a few years already.
The girl also revealed that her nine-year-old sister had also been raped for a few years.
All these rape incidents were said to have taken place at their home in Kampung Daha Seroban, Serian.
After initial investigations, a team from the Serian Criminal Investigation Department led by Inspector Vimal Nathan arrested the four suspects at their home in Kampung Daha Seroban, Serian.
The suspects,who are between 26 and 57 years old, work as farmers.
They are the victims’ father, grandfather and uncles who all stayed together with them.
