KUCHING: Nicholas Jimbai Khoo, 38 from Kampung Sungai Resit, Mile 24 Kuching-Serian Road, was driving towards the direction of Kuching early morning yesterday when he met an untimely death. He lost control of his car near Beratok and the car flipped and turned turtle.
The accident happened around 4.50 am. Passers-by called an ambulance and Nicholos was helped out of his car, unconscious.
He suffered serious head injuries and was confirmed dead on the spot by a medical officer. Jumbai’s body was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital mortuary where a post mortem would be conducted. Sarawak Head of Traffic Investigation and Enforcement, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed the case and said police are investigating.
