KUCHING: Part of  Isah Binti Bohari’s Hari Raya dream has come true –thanks to Hope Place.

The mother of five schoolchildren told the founder of Hope Place, Kevin Wan recently that her Hari Raya dream was for someone to repair her house which had a leaking roof and a floor full of holes as well as a toilet that was almost collapsing.

Isah also hoped that someone would buy new school uniforms, shoes and socks for her children.

Isah’s husband works for a contractor  and  earns about RM 500+ a month. Besides taking taking care of their children, Isah and her husband also have to take care off her two disabled brothers.

One, Posa Bin Bohari, cannot walk and  talk  and needs 24-hour care; he also needs pampers.  Another brother, Mohd Bin Bohari is mentally disabled. The Welfare Department provides a monthly aid of RM300 for Posa.

Kelvin shared Isah’s wish with a few friends who had since then kindly donated two sets of school uniforms, shoes and socks to all her five children.  Kelvin also presented five new mattresses to Isah after noticing all the mattresses in her house were torn and worn out.
