KDC bids farewell to outgoing practical student

KAPIT: Kapit District Council (KDC) organised a gathering to bid farewell to an outgoing practical student, Fardina anak Franky who has successfully completed her 4-month attachment to the council.

Fardina who is a final year student at Mas Gading Community College in Bau, near Kuching taking ‘Certificate In Information Technology’ reported duty for attachment on 14 November last year and has completed her practical session on 3rd March this year.

During her short period of attachment with the council she was assigned with the administration section for about three months where she was exposed to store management, filing management and other administrative correspondence. Her final month of attachment here was at the Public Work Section where she was taught on filing, correspondence and other related duties.

Fardina is a local lass from Rumah Sekang @ Sigan at Nanga Bawai in Baleh area. She described her attachment here as interesting and had learnt new experience especially so in the working life as civil servant.

The council’s secretary, Jabang Juntan in his remark congratulated Fardina for successfully undergoing her practical session here that he said could serve as a guideline to enter into service and wished her all the best in her future undertaking.

Present at the gathering were the sectional heads of the council ,Bato Manggom (Public Work ) , Favian Masing Lintang (Public Health) and several staff.
