KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council will hold the Under-23, 7-a-Side Girls and 6-a-Side Boys Hockey Tournament on 19 and 20 August in conjunction with Kuching Festival 2017.
This tournament is organised in collaboration with the Hockey Association Sarawak (HAS) who will provide the technical back-up.
This tournament is opened to teams from Sarawak and it will be held at Sarawak Hockey Stadium, Jalan Padungan, Kuching.
Each team can only register up to a maximum of 9 players for the girls and 8 players for boys in their respective categories.
Due to the limited number of matches to be played over two days, the organisers have decided to limit the number of entries and thus, interested teams are required to submit their entry forms early to avoid disappointment.
The entry fee is RM30 per team.
Submission of entries will be closed on 17 August 2017 at 6.00 pm and on the same day and time, all team managers are required to attend a meeting at the conference room of Sarawak Hockey Stadium.
Prizes include cash, trophies and medals.
