MUKAH: The district Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) has advised the public here not to be complacent although many have received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
It also reminded them to always follow the health and safety standard operating procedures (SOP) in place.
The task force also warned the public of the presence of the highly-infectious Delta variant, which had been reported in Sarawak lately.
It is learned that Mukah District CITF recorded about 300 individuals who had come for walk-in vaccination so far, since it was introduced statewide about two weeks ago.
On average, about 30 individuals came for walk-in immunisation daily at Mukah Dewan Suarah Mesra Covid-19 immunisation centre (PPV) here.
On Thursday (Aug 5), more than 20 individuals had come for walk-in immunisation by noon.
However, the number of people had decreased in the last few days.
