Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg, Kuching will be temporarily closed on Jan 27 (Sunday) from 7pm to 5am the next day.
Traffic bound from Jalan Satok towards Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg will be diverted to Jalan Reservoir while traffic from Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg at St Joseph will be diverted to Jalan Satok. Traffic from Jalan McDougall towards Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg will be diverted to Jalan Barrack.
Road users planning to head towards the town centre are advised to take alternative routes shown in map. Those heading to Plaza Merdeka are advised to use Jalan Satok, Jalan Haji Taha and Jalan P Ramlee.
There will be road signages to direct traffic.
In case of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, the road closure will be postponed to the following day.
