Opar rep donates qurban meat to 172 Muslim households

LUNDU: Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang donated qurban meat to 172 Muslim household heads from nine villages along the Lundu-Biawak road in conjunction with Aidiladha.

In a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report, Billy also participated in the cattle slaughter process at Masjid Darul Hidayah Kampung Jangkar last Sunday (July 10).

Mualaf and asnaf folk along the Lundu-Biawak road received a donation in the form of two cows from Billy and Yayasan Ikhlas.

Among the villages were Kampung Jangkar, Kampung Jantan, Kampung Pasir Tengah, Kampung Tanjam/Opek, Kampung Sedaing, Kampung Rukam, Kampung Pasir Hulu, Kampung Biawak and Kampung Perundang.

Also present were Kampung Temaga Melayu headman Othman Ibrahim and Masjid Darul Hidayah Kampung Jangkar management committee chairman Muhammad Azim Unting Abdullah.
