BINTULU: Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) hosted an appreciation dinner for media practitioners here on Friday night.
About twenty local media practitioners attended the dinner, which also coincided with the Chinese New Year celebration.
Petronas Senior Manager of Media Communications (Corporate and Regional), Praevitriana Yuliawiratman said the media coverage of Petronas had greatly assisted its efforts to communicate with stakeholders.
She added that the global energy group would continue to build on the strength of its brand while looking for opportunities and charting its growth and progress within and across the world.
“We are grateful for your unwavering support to convey our news and stories to our various stakeholders, especially in Sarawak, throughout Malaysia and even abroad.
“In Sarawak, we have many collaborations with the state government, especially initiatives to boost the oil and gas industry and joint ventures in the clean energy space, all in line with our shared and national aspirations for energy security and a lower carbon future,” he said.
He praised the media for supporting Petronas all the time.
“We thank you for reinforcing our message, raising awareness of the importance of renewable energy, environmental stewardship, in the pursuit of a cleaner and greener world,” he added.
