Police probing boob-grabbing case

KUCHING: The local police are probing a report on a recently sexual harassment case at Kampung Semariang Batu.

This was confirmed today by Kuching district police chief, ACP Ahsmon Bajah.

The issue came to light on social media recently when a number of women residing at the village took their complaints to Facebook, saying that they were harassed by a man on a motorcycle who grabbed their breasts and then fled.

He said a report was lodged on April 12 and investigation is underway.

“The case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code,” he said.

According to a social media post by a victim, the suspect wearing a tiger-striped hoodie rode a grey motorcycle while assaulting the women in the wee hours of April 12.
