SRI AMAN: Year 6 students are urged to prepare themselves well for secondary school.

Community Wellbeing Assistant Minister Datuk Francis Harden Hollis said they should make full use of the yearend holiday to make the necessary preparations so that they would not find secondary school life alien.

“Be prepared mentally and, of course, financially. If you are prepared you will find the transition very interesting,” the Simanggang assemblyman said when officiating at the SJK (C) Chung Hua Simanggang Year 6 Students Thanksgiving and Farewell Ceremony at Eden Restaurant in Simanggang Town last Friday.

At the ceremony, Francis announced RM15,000 in Minor Rural Project (MRP) fund for 2020 to the school, to be divided equally between the School Management Board (LPS), Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and the Staff Recreation and Welfare Club.
